Staying with us in 2024
Having worked for many years in the world of design and art we hope you enjoy our home. Style and comfort are an important part of any stay here. Sadly we do not accommodate visiting pets at Tinsmith’s House.
We invite you to enjoy the art and hand crafted items throughout our home - some are for sale.

BLOFIELDS ROOM
Blofields is a stylish and generous double with a view of the lane it is named after, as well as a view of the garden. There is a super king-sized bed and the room is decorated with contemporary art and furnished with modern classic and restored vintage furniture. There is a bathroom with roll-top bath and walk in shower stall. It is not en-suite, however it is dedicated only to this room and accessed directly across a landing.
ELEPHANT ROOM
Elephant is a light and airy double with views towards the rooftops of Aylsham market square. The bed is king-sized. It is decorated with contemporary art and furnished with re-purposed and vintage furniture. There is an en suite shower room in this room - there is no bath - however the shower is a decent size and it has been recently updated.
BREAKFASTS
Start your day with a hearty breakfast. We serve breakfast in a relaxed and informal setting. All produce is sourced locally including artisan breadmakers, coffee roasters, butchers and groceries from award winning suppliers.
We cater for special diets including vegan, providing you let us know your requirements before your arrival.
Tinsmith’s House is owned by Paul Vater and Paul Barratt of Contemporary and Country (C&C) which was established in April 2020. For more information about C&C click below.
GUEST REVIEWS
“... the whole experience from start to finish has been an absolute pleasure. I am loathe to have to leave and go back to "real life" and leave the peace and quiet of the house and Norfolk behind. Thank you for the wonderful stay”
