OUR COFFEE IS SUPPLIED BY STRANGERS OF NORWICH

Strangers is an independent roastery based in Norwich and supplies Tinsmith’s House with it coffee. Our current favourite is their Colombian blend Los Congos.  It is one of roughly five different coffees they import from around the world, working closely with some of the top coffee importers and roasting the coffee on site.

Strangers was established in 2009 by Alex and Samuel since when they have been honing the craft and expanding their knowledge on the topic. Alex has placed twice in the top 15 in the UK Barista Championships as well as coming 5th in the UK Latte Art competition in 2014. On top of this, Strangers has been shortlisted for a number of national awards by independent bodies, naming it amongst the top nine speciality coffee shops in the country as well as winning best coffee experience in the UK .

    NELSON-TEA

OUR TEA IS SUPPLIED BY NELSON & NORFOLK OF NORTH WALSHAM

The Nelson & Norfolk Tea Company was established by Mark Richmond, who moved to Norfolk after being inspired by many early memories of happy family holidays, the beautiful coastline and those big East Anglian skies. Since 2012, the relaxed and laid back lifestyle that Norfolk living brings made him choose Norfolk as his home. Norfolk also happens to be the birthplace and childhood home of Lord Nelson: he learned to sail on The Broads and was a pupil at Paston Grammar School in North Walsham, where the Company is based. So, the Nelson & Norfolk Tea Company was born, bringing together this great County and national hero to epitomise the best tea to be found anywhere.
